A new design kit is available from Smalley for engineers. Utilize this kit to see how Smalley Wave Springs can reduce your assembly size now, or add to the engineering library for reference on future design projects. Crest-to-Crest springs reduce spring heights by as much as 50% with equal force and deflection as standard coil springs.
The Crest-to-Crest Wave Spring Design Kit contains samples from 6 different Crest-to-Crest series. All of the samples available in this kit are offered, at no charge, in stainless steel! Sample sizes range from as small as 3/8” up to 1 ½” diameters.
Free samples of other Crest-to-Crest springs are also available to test in your application. Smalley offers 3 different series of springs to accommodate light, medium and heavy-duty applications. Wave springs are offered from stock in both carbon and stainless steel in diameters ranging from 3/8” to 2”; specials can be manufactured from as small as .200” up to 90” in diameter!
